First Responders and all members of the military (both active military and veterans) receive a 10% discount on all Zoo membership levels. Please bring your first responder employee ID, military or veteran ID to a Ticketing Window to redeem. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer/deal/discount. First Responders: A valid photo ID must be presented at the Cincinnati Zoo to take advantage of this offer. EMT, Fire and police badges and identification cards are accepted only if accompanied by photo ID. As all ID must reference specific fire or police duty, government-only IDs will not be accepted.
We offer FREE admission to all members of the military on Memorial Day, July 4th and Veteran’s Day.All members of the military — active and retired — will receive FREE admission to the Zoo on Memorial Day, July 4 and Veteran’s Day. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family. Military personnel who qualify for the free admission ticket and discount offer for family members include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps with government-issued ID. Simply present your credentials at the turnstiles on select holidays. Guests with discounted tickets must enter with military personnel who is eligible for free entry.

Some popular organizations that are NOT on that list, however, include San Diego Zoo, Bronx Zoo, Indianapolis Zoo, and Newport Aquarium. You can view the most current list below. Due to current conditions, some reciprocal Zoos may not be honoring reciprocity at this time.

Show your food assistance card – SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) – to receive discounted admission tickets, rides tickets or membership through our Zoo Access for All program. You must have a valid SNAP card and a valid matching photo ID to purchase admission tickets, rides tickets or membership. (Limit of 10 admission tickets and 10 rides tickets purchased per visit with SNAP card. Admission tickets, rides tickets and membership must be purchased in person at the Zoo.)

SNAP cards from any state may be accepted. This is the only membership offered through this program. Discount cannot be applied to previously purchased memberships. Membership must be purchased and renewed in person at the zoo, and can not be purchased or renewed online or over the phone.
