Baker's historic night Friday has vaulted the defending Class 1A state champions back to the top of the USA Today Florida Network high school football poll
Gators running back Kayleb Wagner broke Derek Henry's single-game rushing record with 535 yards and six touchdowns to lead Baker past South Walton 49-48 in Week 4.
Baker's win coupled with Madison County's loss to Tallahassee-Chiles vaults the Gators to the No. 1 spot in the Class 1A poll. The Gators received all nine first-place votes.

Miami Central (Class 5A), Cardinal Gibbons (Class 4A), Chaminade-Madonna (Class 3A) and Champagnat Catholic (Class 2A) also were unanimous No. 1 selections.
Lake Gibson was the biggest mover in the week's poll, going from receiving votes last week to No. 7 in Class 7A. Lake Gibson beat rival Lakeland 38-32 on Friday.
A panel ofhigh school sports reporters from across Gannett's 17 properties inthe state will study and debate which teams deserve to be in the Top 10 of each class.The poll will be released each Wednesday throughout the season.
